Top 10 work event ideas an a budget.

How to make team bonding memories with any budget.

We all need to take time to build connections with our team in the workplace, making strong foundations to create the best possible work. Sometimes there are months where the budget may be a bit stretched, but that shouldn’t mean you have to miss out on quality time together.

A study by Oxford University has proven that workers are up to 13% more productive when they are happy. Team events are a great way to ensure your team are happy by taking time to understand everyone’s needs and wishes, to build stronger friendships and by taking part of activities that release endorphins whether it’s some mindful creative calm time, the thrill of a fast paced quiz or a good old boogie to some classic hits!

We’re proud to champion inclusivity here at The Together Collective, here our some ideas on how we can ensure everyone can be involved whether Virtually Together or Actually Together. You could host an origami workshop or musical bingo show by live streaming our artist into your office and providing your own paper! These cost savings are available on request - all you need to do is ask our team! Please see below for our top 10 work event ideas that are perfect for those trying to keep costs down this year but understand the importance of team building in the workplace.

Don't let your budget stop you from maintaining your company culture!

3. BYO supplies for workshops and tastings.

You could try a virtual cooking class from your kitchen at home, or maybe you’d like to get the team together in the office for a BYO materials tropical fruits still life workshop where our host comes to you, or perhaps you can supply your own wine and cheeses for a tasting session? What would be more special than building up your own team community whilst helping the community around you? Research local charities to see where you can volunteer your time to help others - maybe you could go on a group litter picking trip or help out at a food shelter?

Another way you can contribute to charity is by turning your event into a fundraiser! You can turn our horse racing or casino games events into fundraisers by letting guests place real money bets via a QR code to donate all the money to a worthy cause of your choice.

7. Design a local photo scavenger hunt.

Time for an adventure! Split your team into groups and come up with some fun missions in your area that they need to complete in an allotted time - maybe a selfie with a nearby landmark? Or the local cafe’s chalkboard menu? As well as awarding the group with the most tasks completed, you could create awards for most creative photo or most amount of steps.
