Tea Tasting Experience.

What is it? A relaxed and interactive tea tasting experience that brings together sensory discovery, storytelling and conversation. Guests are guided through a curated selection of three teas while learning about how tea is grown, produced and transformed. They will also learn how geography and processing influence flavour, and how to taste tea using aroma, body, sweetness and astringency.
How long is it? Sessions last 60 minutes.
How is it hosted? Available in person or virtually. For in-person sessions, the host brings the teas, specialist brewing and tasting equipment, tasting materials and complementary snacks or pairings (The snacks are to help amplify or sharpen the flavour profile of the tea and may include a range of biscuits (shortbread or digestives), chocolate (milk and dark chocolate), cheese, and water crackers to cleanse the palate between tastings). For virtual sessions, tea samples are posted to participants in advance, with simple preparation instructions so everyone can brew and taste together online.

You'll also explore why green tea can sometimes taste bitter, how water temperature affects the cup and how to get the best from green tea at home.

Discover the rich and diverse tea traditions of South East Asia, exploring the different ways tea is grown, prepared and enjoyed across the region. The tasting can be tailored to spotlight particular countries, tea styles, traditions or cultural stories, depending on your team's interests.

Natasha is a certified Tea Sommelier who creates premium, interactive tea experiences centred around tea, culture and connection.
Her approach brings together sensory discovery, storytelling and conversation, offering a contemporary alternative to traditional afternoon tea. Guests learn how to taste and brew exceptional tea while exploring the people, places and cultures behind it.
Natasha's Caribbean heritage also informs her perspective on tea, particularly the connections between culture, migration, trade and ingredients. With many years of experience facilitating workshops and conversations with teams in international organisations, she creates experiences that are polished and informative while remaining warm, relaxed and highly participative.

The experience requires tables or a suitable surface for preparing and serving the teas, seating or standing space for guests, access to electrical sockets, fresh water and a nearby sink, plus enough table space for each guest's tasting cups and materials.

For in-person sessions, Natasha provides the selected loose-leaf teas, specialist brewing equipment, tasting and serving equipment, tea information and tasting materials, plus complementary snacks or pairings.
For virtual tastings, tea samples are posted to participants in advance along with simple preparation instructions. Everyone then brews and tastes together online. Guests receive enough tea to continue tasting after the session.

Allow approximately 30–45 minutes for set-up before an in-person event and 20–30 minutes for pack-down afterwards.

No. This is a guided tea tasting rather than a traditional afternoon tea. The focus is on experiencing and comparing different teas, learning about them and enjoying the conversation that develops around the tasting.

Absolutely. Tea tasting offers an inclusive alternative to alcohol-centred team activities and works particularly well for celebrations, wellbeing programmes, Dry January and team gatherings.

The host is based just outside London and can travel throughout London and the surrounding area, with travel elsewhere in the UK available by arrangement. Virtual sessions can also be delivered to international teams on added shipping price, subject to sufficient lead time for shipping samples.
