Cooking Class With Migrant Chefs.
A cooking class that connects cultures and teams.
What is it? In this hands-on cookery class your team will work together to cook 5-6 dishes, aided by detailed recipes and the guidance of a chef. The dishes are enjoyed together afterwards as a flavourful feast. And while your team enjoys this memorable experience, you’ll also be creating impact beyond the kitchen. Each booking supports our cookery class teacher training programme, providing the refugee and migrant chefs we work with opportunities to build their confidence, develop professional skills and achieve financial resilience in the UK.
How long is it? All classes are 2.5 hours including eating time. We have 2 fixed slots with +/- 1 hour flexibility, which are 12pm-2.30pm and 6.30pm-9pm.

What is the minimum and maximum group size? Minimum 10 and maximum 18 people.

Why do this class.
Looking for a blast of culinary fun with your colleagues? This team bonding experience is the perfect option for your group if you like trying different cuisines and enjoy a hearty meal with your colleagues. This engaging experience is a great ice breaker, crowd pleaser and ideal for teams wanting to connect and interact over something delicious and talk about interests outside of the workspace.
It’s not just about connecting and cooking but also giving back. Our mission is to support and celebrate migrants on their journey to employment and integration. We believe in harnessing the unifying power of food to bridge divides, challenge stereotypes and promote unity. We do this mission by offering a chef training programme that curates authentic dishes into cooking classes where our chefs get to share their cuisine, culture and stories with the wider community.

We define ‘dietary requirements’ in our Food and Allergens Policy as ‘personal preferences in relation to food consumption that do not include a food allergy or food intolerance. People choose to eat particular diets for a variety of reasons: religious, environmental, moral, ethical, lifestyle, health.’
We are unable to accommodate dietary requirements. We take care to clearly highlight the dietary suitability of the class menu or dishes (vegan, vegetarian, contains meat, contains fish). We recommend you only book into classes which suit your dietary requirements. We mark some menus as ‘vegetarian friendly’ or ‘vegan friendly’ as only 1 dish does not meet the dietary requirement. You are welcome to join a class and skip out on any dishes that do not suit your dietary requirements. -
